Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the 8th Vande Bharat Express train on Sunday, heralding a new era of connectivity between the Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This is the first Vande Bharat Express train of 2023 and heralds a new era of passenger convenience. The Vande Bharat Express train will connect the cities of Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, covering a distance of approximately 700 km. This is the first express train connecting the two states, making it an important milestone for the two states as well as for India as we further strengthen the internal infrastructure of the country. The train will begin its regular service on January 16 and passengers can begin to book tickets from Saturday.
The train has been designed keeping in mind the latest safety standards and requirements and is equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and automatic doors. Passengers can expect to have a comfortable, safe and comfortable journey on this train. It is great to see that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government have put emphasis on strengthening the passenger infrastructure in the country. With the start of this train, the connection between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is further cemented, a move which will undoubtedly boost the trade and economy of both states.
