National and regional centers of excellence for skill development, and utilizing the National Education Policy to promote imaginative thinking at the school level. These initiatives are all part of the “Create in India” campaign.
These suggestions are included by the task force on Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic (AVGC) promotion that was sent to the Union government. They also prepared draught national and state policies for the sector’s promotion, and it delivered its findings to Information & Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on December 22
The report also recommends a curriculum of AVGC-related courses for undergraduate and graduate degrees that are approved by the University Grants Commission and entrance exams should be held for this course in the country.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) may get recommendations from the Ministry of Education to write textbooks with an emphasis on Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic (AVGC) related topics.
