Ekta Kapoor is a name that needs no introduction when it comes to the Indian TV and film industry. With no fear of touching on taboo subjects, Ekta has been responsible for changing the face of television. But what many people don’t know is that she has also been responsible for producing several amazing films. Back in 2010, Ekta Kapoor went against the norms and made the film Love Sex Aur Dhokha, directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
The film was an experiment that spotlighted the influences of technology on different taboo topics. After the outstanding success of this movie, there has been speculation of a potential sequel. Recently, there were talks of Ekta Kapoor entering Bigg Boss 16 as a way to launch a new actress.
This isn’t a first as the Bigg Boss house has seen many actresses launch their careers on a grand scale – the famous Sunny Leone is one of them. Not much is known yet about the sequel project, but one thing we do know is that the visionary director Dibakar Banerjee will be collaborating with Ekta Kapoor once again. This could be quite a combination as the two have already proved their mettle in the past. We can’t help but look forward to what the sequel will bring.
