Bollywood and Hollywood are two of the biggest film industries in the world. While both industries produce a lot of great movies, there is one key difference between them: the 200 crore club. In the Indian film industry, the 200 crore club is a big deal. This is because it is a big thing for movies to cross the 200 crore mark. On the other hand, Hollywood has a lot of movies that have made more than 200 crores (they normally earn double the amount in a single day!) But in India, few Hollywood movies have entered the 200 Crore Club.
Now Avatar 2 has entered the 200 Crore Club.
The movie opened with a bumper 40 crore opening and in a few days, grossed over 100 crores. Many thought that the movie won’t be able to make a good amount of money because of the high ticket price but the money didn’t stop the crowd to experience the movie. The movie has come as a breath of fresh air for many because of its interesting sci-fi genre and great path-breaking visual effects. Now with the dismissal opening collection of Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus, it looks like Avatar 2 will gross more and benefit from the winter break.
