The Congress has invited 21 different political parties to participate in the concluding program of its “Bharat Jodo Yatra” in Srinagar on January 30. The aim of this yatra is to bring peace, harmony, and equality to the people of India. The Congress President has sent out an invitation to the various presidents of the party. The list of invited parties includes the Trinamool Congress, Nitish Kumar’s party, Samajwadi Party, and Bahujan Samaj Party. AAP, which is one of the major political parties in India, however, is not included in the invitee’s list. This yatra, which was flagged off from Kanyakumari on September 7, is going to culminate at Srinagar on January 30.
The grand finale of the yatra shall be marked by Congress president Rahul Gandhi hoisting the National Flag in Jammu and Kashmir. This Bharat Jodo Yatra is a call for unity in India according to the Congress party. The Congress party wants to deliver a strong message of harmony and equality through this yatra. They are inviting all like-minded parties to join this initiative and send out a strong message of peace, harmony, and unity among the people of India. The Congress party won the election during this Yatra and has formed a Government in Himachal Pradesh. Only the elections in the later part of this year will tell whether this Yatra has been beneficial for the political success of Congress or not.
