Mumbai, India – Actress and businesswoman, Malaika Arora, has expressed her desire to take her investment venture, Diva Ventures, to international markets.

Diva Ventures is a startup that focuses on investing in early-stage businesses, primarily in the technology and e-commerce sectors. The company was launched in 2018 and has since invested in several startups, including a fitness app, a beauty e-commerce platform, and a food delivery service.

In a recent interview, she said, “India has a booming startup ecosystem, and I believe that many of these startups have the potential to succeed in international markets. With Diva Ventures, I want to provide the necessary support and funding to help these companies expand globally.”

Arora, who has a degree in business management, has been actively involved in the startup scene for several years. She has previously invested in a fashion e-commerce company and a wellness platform.

She said that she plans to use her experience and network to help Indian startups break into international markets. “I have been in the industry for over two decades, and I have a lot of connections and experience. I want to use this to help Indian startups succeed on a global level,” she said.

Arora also highlighted the importance of diversity in the startup ecosystem. “Diversity is essential for the success of any industry, and the startup ecosystem is no exception. We need to have more women and people from diverse backgrounds in the industry, and I hope that Diva Ventures can play a small role in achieving that,” she said.

Arora’s plans to take Diva Ventures to international markets come at a time when the Indian startup ecosystem is booming. According to a recent report by NASSCOM, India is home to over 50,000 startups, and the sector is expected to create over 1.3 million jobs by 2025.
