Recently, it is reported that a family from Bangladesh has come to Tripura just to watch Pathaan on big screens. And this has turned out to be the craziest fan following ever. Pthaan made people come to India to watch his films. What could be better than this?
Due to some legal issues, the film did not release in Bangladesh. So SRKians came to India to watch him on silver screens after these many years. Annono Mamun film director from Bangladesh said, “Due to the complexity of laws, the movie will not be released any time soon. Apparently, there are two rules applied in case of importation of foreign films; one, no film from the sub-continent is allowed to be imported, and two, foreign films can only be imported if films from both sides are traded.”
Despite this, a family from Dhaka traveled all the way to Agartala to watch Pathaan on big screens. Satadeep Saha, the cinema hall owner of Agartala twitted “This is something great….. people traveling from Bangladesh to India to watch Pathaan!! Thank you so much for visiting Rupasi Cinema, Agartala!!.”
