Conman Sukesh, who is currently in jail for allegedly duping multiple people, has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of having a nexus with Businessman B.R. Shetty.
Sukesh, who is known for his involvement in high-profile scams, made the allegation during a virtual hearing at the Delhi High Court. He claimed that Kejriwal had received a large sum of money from B.R. Shetty, who is currently facing a money laundering probe.
According to Sukesh, B.R. Shetty had provided Kejriwal with Rs 5 crore in cash as part of a deal to secure a government contract for his company. He also alleged that Kejriwal had promised to provide all possible help to B.R. Shetty in exchange for the money.
The Delhi CM has denied all the allegations made by Sukesh and has called them baseless. He has stated that he has never met B.R. Shetty and has no connection with him whatsoever.
Kejriwal has also said that he is ready to face any inquiry into the matter and has urged the authorities to investigate the allegations thoroughly.
Meanwhile, B.R. Shetty’s lawyer has also denied the allegations made by Sukesh. He has stated that his client has never met Kejriwal and has never given him any money.
The Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Police to investigate the matter and submit a report within a week. The court has also stated that if the allegations are found to be true, appropriate action will be taken against those involved.
This is not the first time that Sukesh has been involved in such scams. He has previously been accused of duping politicians, businessmen, and actors. He is currently in jail for his alleged involvement in a bribery case.
