Zika Virus Case In Pune

The city of Pune has reported an active Zika Virus Case. According to the news, a 67-year-old man hailing from Nashik has been infected with Zika Virus. The man has been admitted to the Jehangir Hospital. After the news, there has been a great amount of fear regarding this outbreak. Most people infected with the Zika virus show no signs or symptoms, but the virus can cause fever, rash, and joint pain. In pregnant women, Zika can cause serious birth defects. As such, it is important to take preventative measures to protect yourself from becoming infected and further spreading the virus. These include using insect repellents, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and sleeping under mosquito nets.
