It’s worth noting that “House of the Dragon” is based on George R.R. Martin’s book “Fire & Blood,” which chronicles the history of House Targaryen. So, while some of these characters may not be familiar to fans of the “Game of Thrones” TV series, they play significant roles in the Targaryen family tree.
Also, fans can expect to see even more new faces in the second season of “House of the Dragon,” as the show continues to explore the rise and fall of one of Westeros’ most influential families.
Further, production for the second season is set to begin later this year, with a premiere date expected in 2023. In the meantime, fans can catch up on the first season of “House of the Dragon” on HBO Max.
