Abdel Fateh el-Sisi, the president of Egypt, will be the special guest on the Republic Day events in January 2023. India and Egypt have good relations based on centuries-old cultural and moral links and have strong individual connections between the people of both countries. This year, both nations are honoring the 75th anniversary of the start of bilateral agreements, according to a Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Egypt and India co-founded the non-alignment movement in international politics in 1950. Mr. Sisi also joined the India Africa Forum Summit. Through more important recent projects like green energy, the two nations are remaking their long-standing mutual trust.
At the Egyptian site, the Indian company, funded by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Goldman Sachs and is estimated to generate 2,20,000 tonnes of clean fuel yearly. Egypt is one of the guest nations invited to attend the G-20 summit that will be held in India’s presidency next year, along with Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, and Spain.
