Inauguration of New Goa’s Airport By PM Modi

Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Goa’s Airport at Mopa. He gave the name of the Airport by the late Mahonhar Parrikar’s name, who was the chief minister of Goa. The Manohar Parrikar International airport will aid in increasing Goa tourism. And it can take about 44 lakhs passengers in a year. And by the coming year as the project completes fully it will carry around 1 crore passengers. A total of 2 crore+ budget was invested to make this airport. As the new airport is situated in North Goa it will surely promote its tourism more.

Son of chief minister Utpal Parrikar is happy to see his father’s name on the airport. It will boost the economy of North Goa. The chief minister of Goa passed away in March 2016.
