Pamela Chopra, the wife of legendary Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra, passed away at the age of 74 on Wednesday morning. She had been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for the past few days and was reportedly suffering from multiple ailments.

Pamela was a well-known film producer in her own right and had worked on several of her husband’s movies. She was also a trained classical singer and had sung in some of Yash Chopra’s films, including “Silsila” and “Lamhe”.

The couple had been married for over 40 years and had two children, Aditya and Uday Chopra. Yash Chopra, who was one of the most successful filmmakers in Indian cinema, passed away in 2012.

Pamela Chopra was known for her grace and elegance and was a familiar face at many Bollywood events. She was often seen accompanying her husband to film premieres and award shows.

The news of her passing has left the film industry in shock. Several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to express their condolences.

Actor Anil Kapoor tweeted, “Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Pamela Chopra ji. My heartfelt condolences to Aditya and Uday and the entire family. May she rest in peace.”

Moreover, Director Kunal Kohli wrote, “Saddened to hear about the passing of Pamela Chopra. A beautiful soul, always smiling, always gracious. Heartfelt condolences to Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra, and the family. Rest in peace.”
