The U.P. Government announced that a large memorial will be constructed on the anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar’s passing so that his views and ideas reach a mass audience.
B.R. Ambedkar’s principles will be reflected in the memorial to both current and future generations. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated that the state government stands with the underprivileged and oppressed sectors of society.
The state’s major political parties are trying to get involved with the Dalit community and bring up their issues and concerns for them.
The Congress party appointed their state chief for the Dalit people while The Samajwadi Party is also bringing up Dalit problems and making moves to form a group with the Dalit organization in the state.
