Mumbai will be facing water cut from 29th November to 30th November. As per Hindustan Times report, major water cut will affect 10 wards of Mumbai .According to various reports , various repair works are being undertaken at Veravali and Powai reservoir from 8:30 am on 29 November to 8:30 am on 30 November.
A BMC official said that besides the work on a 300 mm pipeline in powai area, the cross-connection of two 1800mm pipeline is a major project.
Area to be affected :K West ward- It has around 7.5 lakh people residing in areas like Lokhandwala ,Andheri West ,Juhu, Vile parle.
K East ward-This includes Jogeshwari east, Azad road.Water will be supplied in cutailed amounts/
