The celebration began in India when the Hyderabad-based music composer M.M. Keeravani acceptance of the Best Original Song award for the S.S. Rajamouli-directed Telugu film RRR at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

Naatu Naatu song and RRR movie both were nominated separately For Best Original Song and Best Picture (non-English language), for this award. Naatu Naatu’s song victory made it the first Asian song to get the honor on this big stage.

Over the previous three months, the RRR movie and the Naatu Naatu song in the United States had gradually become popular.

The audience at the Los Angeles Chinese Theatre’s special presentation of RRR Movie changed the Song Naatu Naatu into an unexpected dance party the day before the 2023 Golden Globes.

Many Telugu movie fans who have been following RRR’s progress in terms of its foreign response have drawn similarities to the joyful atmosphere that can be found at theatres on RTC Cross Roads in Hyderabad after viewing big masala entertainers.

Keeravani acknowledges the performers and crew members who contributed to the success of Naatu Naatu song, including the choreographer Prem Rakshith, the lyricist Chandrabose, the singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava for their upbeat vocals, NTR and Ram Charan for their energetic dancing.

He expressed his belief that the song genuinely knows no boundaries and said this one is unique. He also thanked all of the listeners who have helped the song become famous since its release.
