The leader of the Congress Party, Rahul Gandhi said that his political party group keeps its commitments and has removed 22 lakh Rajasthani farmer’s loans under the work of The Rajasthan Government.
Speaking to a crowd during the Bharat Jodo Yatra at the location, he blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for breaking his commitment to providing the national work progress to the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). Rahul Gandhi stated that he does what he says and fulfilled his promises to the people.
According to Rahul Gandhi, the State provides free electricity power to the eight lakh farmers in Rajasthan. In the most recent Assembly elections, the Rajasthan Congress government made a promise to remove farmer’s loans.
The Bharatiya Janata Party recently blamed Congress Government for not fulfilling its commitment towards the people, by addressing this, he responded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi twice in his speech committed to the 13 districts of Rajasthan that the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) will receive national project status but instead of giving this he canceled it.
The main purpose of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) is to supply water for consumption and agriculture to 13 State districts of the state.
