China’s crackdown on recent protestors

For the last couple of days, people in china are protesting in large numbers due to the extreme Covid policy. There can be many videos that can be seen in which people in large numbers are shouting in the streets demanding the freedom to move out freely. In one particular video, a guy can be heard shouting that he wanted to see a movie. Many are demanding the resignation of President Xi Jinping. Many political analysts are saying that these protests are probably the biggest since the the1980s which resulted in the Tiananmen Square massacre. With all these protests, China is cracking down hard on the protestors. The police are searching for information about the protestors and many areas have been filled with police officials.
