The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Party breaks the record of the congress party of 149 seats which they won during the time of Madhavsinh Solanki’s politics in Gujarat in 1985. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state home won 156 seats with an increased percentage of 52.5% in the election. The Aam Aadmi Party’s involvement in the Gujarat election damaged the primary congress party with an impressive vote percentage of 13% whereas the percentage of the congress party decreased to 27.3% and even they did not receive a single seat in the urban cities.
The complete downfall of the opposition party occurred in the tribal belt because the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates caused triangle elections that benefited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a significant way.
